Tate started doing much better yesterday morning so they sent him home, yea!  Jeff made a couple of meme's that were pretty funny!

These are from this morning.  Way better!!!
Meanwhile, our other grandchild is getting torture devices installed in her mouth!  She got an expander.  Next is headgear (oh great!) then 6 months from now - braces.  Ugh!

Tate in the hospital

The first day he went to two emergency rooms and the first one said pink eye.  Second one said an allergic reaction.  Jeff did his google search and told Connor and Cassie that it was Periorbital Cellulitis.  Yesterday they took him to the pediatric emergency room at the Cardon Children's hospital and they knew right away that it was Periorbital cellulitis!  Dr. Papa Jeff was right!  They admitted him and started him on an IV and some antibiotics.

Trying to get him to drink.  He still isn't very interested in his bottle or drinking.  The plan is to do a Cat scan today.

Tate is sick & Rolo turns 3

Poor Mr. Tate is sick!  His eye is swollen.  The doctor said it was an allergic reaction but we don't know to what.  This picture is from yesterday.  Breaks your heart!

It's Rolo's 3rd birthday today!  She got a stuffed elephant and a peanut butter bone!

Zack goes camping & Kaitlin's 19th birthday

Zack and Alex went camping in Sedona with friends while we were doing the Houston Brother's trail!
 Hilarious how diverse Arizona is!
After we got home from camping, we had to hurry and get ready to go to Kaitlin's 19th birthday party.  We had to bring the chairs!
Grandma was sitting in front of the sliding glass door so the lighting was bad.
We got her a card with money in it.
Kendal came at the end.  She came right after she got off work at Dick's.

Tate on a Wednesday

I got to babysit Tate all day Wednesday! Papa was getting ready to go to work and Tate loved his shiny badge so Papa gave him one of his own!

We had a good time together.
 He loves little Einstein's!
Addie came over after school and played with him.  They just love each other!

Frog on a fence post

"When you see a frog on a fence post
you know it did not get there by itself."
This is apparently some kind of stupid motivational saying people use in speeches.  (I googled it).
I say if you see a frog on a fence post it's because some sick demented person put it there knowing it couldn't get down!  I went to Target the other day and there was a front open spot and I was like, "Sweet!"  When I pulled up I saw this thing sitting on the railing.  When I got out I went over to it.
It was a frog!  A huge ugly dried out frog!  How in the hell was it up there??  Is it dead?  Nope, it just blinked!  Poor thing is all dried out and dying a slow death!  It was over 90 degrees outside.  Who knows how long he'd been out there and how many people just ignored him because he's gross looking!  I sure the hell didn't want to touch him!  But for God's sake this is a living, breathing, feeling being and I couldn't ignore it's suffering.  So I grabbed a bag out of the back of my car and wrapped it around the frog.  He didn't even move.  He was so stiff.  I put him under a bush that was under a tree that had lots of shade and then I poured a water bottle over him.  I doubt he'd recover but maybe he'll dying knowing that someone cared in the end.

Easter

This was Tate's first Easter!

Tate so handsome with his little bow tie!  Alex and Cassie got Addie an Easter dress.
 Get it Tater!
Money instead of candy...in all of the eggs??!!!
Tate had little baby treats in his!
I think they were both pleased!
Kendal got a real smile out of Zack!
After some yummy breakfast enchiladas Tate was ready to go swimming!
Connor brought "Big Joe" aka: Cody the crab.  Zack tried sitting on him and flipped over!
Sweet potatoes for dinner.  The kids insist!
