QC vs Perry

We played Perry today.

 Cassie made Addie a hair bow to match the rest of the team. 

She was so happy to wear it and be just like the girls on the team!!!

All the girls LOVED the bows!

When Kendal was up to bat, Addie said,
"Kendal, look at me!"

It was so cute as she held the camera up to take a picture of her. :)
 Kendal hit great all day!

We were winning 6 to 1 until the 5th inning break down.

It was 8 to 6 with two runners on base and 1 out.
They started shelling Amanda.
So they put Kendal in.
(Right in the middle of the inning.)

 Kendal got the next two outs but there were runners left on base

and the one on 3rd scored before we got our last out :(

 Then it was 8 to 7 in the 7th inning and we had two outs with runners on base

when this power hitter comes up....

You know she's thinking she's going to rock it over the fence

for a homerun and win the game.

At least that was how she was swinging!

 Kendal got her 0 and 2!!!!

Everyone's holding their breath!

She pitches the next pitch and......

Kendal struck her out!  Yea!!!!

Perry is a 5A school and we are a 4A school.

So you know they came into this game

thinking they were going to cream us.

NOT!

Good job Kendal!!

Making bows

It's Kendal's turn to make the bows for softball.

 But she had math homework that Connor was helping her with.

He also helped Cassie with the bows.

 While Cassie made the bows.

Cassie also cut up a bag and made a "snowflake"

for Addie..here she is sawing..ohhhhh...

(Addie just dropped all the pieces on the floor.)

Fire next door

Jeff and I were leaving to go to the store when we noticed

the construction "debri" from the builder

(which is like 3 lots away from our house) was on fire!

We got to call the fire dept.  They have a great response time!!  :)

I texted Kendal while Jeff was on the phone calling the Fire Dept.

She looked out the second floor window and said she

saw kids running away as we were walking up.

Kids!
QC is such a small little town so much so,
that I have the builder's son's phone number
(plus he also lives in our neighborhood). 
So, I called and told him his stuff was on fire!
He had a good response time too!  lol :)

Softball update

Lisa got Addie some summer sandals from Costco.

We thought they might be too "big" because they were size 11

 but turns out they fit perrrfect!!
