Coloring with Nana

We were over at my mom's house and she had some coloring books and crayons out(I think Lily was using them). So, Addie and I decided to do some coloring.
She loved all the different color crayons.  She couldn't decide if she wanted to be a lefty. Notice the concentration. :) She switched from lefty to righty.  I'm so glad she likes to color!  We're going to have lots of fun together :)

Addie in Hawaii

Addie went to Hawaii with Kaytee and her parents.

Vs Shadow Mountain

On Sept. 11 we played Shadow Mountain at home.
We won 41 to 7
(they only scored on offense and because we
had a bunch of second stringers in) lol.
Connor had an amazing game and probably THE hit of the game! We all bought raffle tickets to win a dinner for two at Texas Road House.  Cassie won the game ball.  As you can she she was really thrilled! Her mom was also at the game.  :)
Grandpa posed with her and the game ball and so did Kyle Krauss?
 Cassie and the game ball.
Dad talking to Connor about the game while he was eating a hot dog.  I didn't want to bring my camera because we keep getting rained on so I took pictures with my cell phone. Tonight, it was just lightening in the distance.

Shopping

We went to the Potato Barn to look at some furniture -
Dad and Kendal were trying out the comfy chair.

First game of the season VS Higley!

The first Varsity game was against Higley (our rivals).
We had on Beat Higley shirts.
It was the game of the week and televised
Jeff, Me, Kaytee, Coulter and Great Nana
We were in the newspaper! Good fans!!

We of course, won. Great Nana and Addie watched the game. This was Addie's 2nd football season.  She enjoyed this game a lot more than last year. She was dancing to the band, clapping and...socializing with everyone! We ended up getting rained out and had to continue the game on Saturday!

Nana's blanket

I finally found a pattern for a blanket I wanted to make for my mom. I didn't get it finished in time for her birthday.
I gave it to her on September 3rd (not too late).
It's pineapples!
