Making Salsa

After work I went to the store and picked up some fixings for salsa.
 Addie, of course, wouldn't let me put her down. 

 So, I stuck her up on the counter with me and gave her some "tastes" of whatever I was cutting up. This was a tomato. Not too crazy about that one! ha :)Next was the tag from the lime juice. I think she liked that the best!  

Yes, I unplugged the toaster.

1st day of school!

 Today was Kendal's first day of high school.
  I made them stop at the door and take a picture.

 Kendal (as you can see) is saying with her eyes, 

"hurry up mom, this is ridiculous". 

That's how you get when you go to high school I guess? LOL.

Lil' Zack is also starting his first day at Queen Creek.

 He left that silly Gilbert high school business.

 He also got lucky he didn't come to the door, otherwise,

I'd had made him take a picture too!

Addie's 1st Birthday!

 We celebrated Addison's birthday on Sunday. I had Connor and Kendal go to the store and get some helium balloons. (Little did I know 1/2 of them would pop because of the EXTREME heat!) :(

We also put up some streamers, which looked nice blowing in the HOT wind :)

Then we went inside and put up some streamers and balloons.

Uncle Connor blew up a balloon (he stopped texting for a few minutes) for Addie to play with.

Zack and Kaytee went to Costco (they forgot to take the Costco card) to get the pizzas. Six X-tra larges!  They had to call Cassie's mom (who is the manager of Costco) so they wouldn't get kicked out!  Lisa saved the day!

Addie liked the pizza!

She's always willing to share...if you like soggy baby-eaten pizza. We set up a table in the living room because it was to dang hot outside to eat. Jeff said it reminded him of the last supper. It reminded me (and Karyn) of a wedding table.   Then it was present time!

The first present was from (Great) Grandma & Grandpa.

 She knew right away to touch it's nose and it would make a noise!

The Halls, like good Grandparent's, got her a bunch a stuff.  A vacuum....A cell phone.....Blocks and a cool electronic story book.  Sorry, Jeff took pictures of everything :)

Corey and Brian work at the Zoo - so they brought a stuffed animal for Addie.  She wouldn't put it down. She loved it!

We all got her the dancing tower and her Daddy spoiled her and got her, her own house

 And of course, Mommy spoiled her too! :)  Time for cake!

Kaytee and Zack got her her own little cake.  We practiced with Addie on how to blow the candle out. She did it a bunch of times during practice. But did not want to do it this time. Too many eyes looking at her? :)  But she sure enjoyed eating it! Ha!

(Great) Nana made eclair cake.  Zack got an ice cream cake from DQ and (Great) Nana wrote on it (remember why? lol!)  I forgot to take a picture of it before I started cutting it up, oops!

 Kendal and Coulter were jackin' around doing something that ended with Kendal sliding across the floor?  My Mom had to take Coulter to urgent care because he had a sore throat. Luckily, it wasn't strep. He couldn't eat much either :(
