Birthday Blow off

I made Kendal a shirt to wear to school on her birthday.  I thought it came out soo good!   I was so proud of it that I was sending pictures of it to everyone - Then Cassie said she wanted one! So I made Cassie one while Kendal was at the freshman football game.

Cassie was going to surprise Kendal by wearing it. But... Kendal refused to wear it.  She thought I bought it!  (compliment) but when I told her that I actually made it..did that change her mind?  Nope.  She still didn't wear it! Cassie was still going to wear hers, but Connor forgot it. 

So this is the only "wearing" these shirts got today.  Waist of my time.

First two baby ponchos

When I dropped by blankets off at the boutique in Scottsdale, the owner, Karen, asked me if I made baby ponchos.  Do I!!!

 These are the first two I've made.  I made them yesterday.

Ezra gets baptized

Luken and his family were able to come down for Ezra's baptism.

Luken baptised and confirmed him.  

Katie crocheted Ezra a little halloween figure.  It was cute - or ugly cute?  ha!
Abe got Ezra some engraved scriptures. Mom got him a case to put them in. We got Ezra the Alchemist!  After the baptism we all went over to Abe's house. I called Zack and had him and Addie meet us at the house so Addie could play with her cousins.

We missed McKenna's birthday earlier in the month so we got her some Polly Pockets!

 We also got a little wand for Sophie and a little light up ball for Baby Ryker!

 He liked it for about 10 seconds and then moved on :) LOL!

Addie played in the back bedroom with the girls.

 Then baby Ryker came and joined the girls.  He doesn't look so happy.  :(

He and Addie decided to leave and go play with some cars and action figures. The baptism was at 7:30pm and we didn't leave Abe's house till after 10pm. Addie ate like an entire bowl of macaroni and cheese and her eyes were red. We thought she was going to pass out on the drive home but she didn't!

I always order Cassie's corsage from Fry's.  Connor went to Fry's to get it and nobody was there in the floral department.  So he had to go and find someone.  They couldn't find it!  So the guy sold him a "Keepsake Corsage" that #1 is totally fake and #2 is $30!!!  But...he sold it to Connor for $10 since he couldn't find the corsage.  So Connor comes home and puts the "fake" flower in the fridge.  So while this was all going on...I'm at Michael's birthday party.

Side Note....

 (So I called up Fry's and asked to speak to a manager and told him what happened.  Then I said I wanted a call back from the manager of the floral department telling me how this happened.)

When Connor puts the corsage on Cassie's wrist, she says, "Oh!  It's cold!"  

hahaha!  Well at least she'll be able to keep it for like... EVER!

Kim from the floral department called me back the next day and appologized.  She said the girl that was suppose to work on Saturday called in sick.  So the girl in bakery was suppose to help cover.  But Connor went and got someone else (like he knew) and that guy didn't know to look in the refrigerated flower display where the corsage was. 
So that's the rest of the story!  :)

Michael's birthday party

Saturday we were busy!  Addie was playing in Kendal's room while I was doing my hair (in Kendal's room)  She loves Kendal's funny glasses!

 Then Jeff and I drove into Scottsdale and dropped off my latest baby blankets.

It was nice, we found out I sold another one!  The baby blue blanket!  Yea!

 Then we rushed home and picked up Zack and Addie to go to 

Michael's birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza. Addie had such a good time!  She played with little Bella and Kaitlin took her all over and played games with her!

Aunt Joanne and I did the "Grandma" thing and took our granddaughters on the carousel. Addie didn't want to get on it at first.  Then she didn't want to get off!

She even got to play some video games with her Dad!  She's handing me a token.  

"Here Nana...go play a game instead of taking pictures!"  Lol!

Kaitlin put these funny glasses on Addie. Next, we were off to take pictures of the kids going to the homecoming dance and then off to Ezra's baptism.
