Archery and Cookies

My Mom and I went and visited Mr. Tate on Friday.  She hadn't seen him in a while and missed his sweet face!

 We took Addie shooting at Archery HQ instead of QC JOAD so all three of us could shoot for FREE!  Yea!  We had a lot of fun!

Then on Saturday, Jeff and I went to the mountain and shot the range.  We were there for three hours (again!)  I even shot some of the 3D targets!  So much fun!  Ps.  I have to shoot with my cap up or it gets in the way,  I don't normally wear my hat like that! ha!

 Sunday at dinner, Tate was growling with Aunt Kendal.  It was hillarious!

 Connor and Cassie brought over cookies and Tate got a hold of one!

My first archery pin!

Last Friday was the pin shoot.  I needed 70 points and on the last shoot I had 65!  That meant I had 3 arrows to get 5 points!  (Stress)  I took my first shot and launched it over the target - MISS!  I only had TWO arrows now to get 5 points!  My final score was a 76!  Yea for me and a happy dance!  I got my first pin!  Addie earned her 3rd pin (and her 2nd that they never gave her last month!)  We were both so excited!  

We babysat Tate last night while Connor and Cassie went out to dinner.  Papa was on his phone looking at the "Chive" and Tate wanted to see what he was looking at!  Doh!

I volunteer twice a week in Addie's class and I grade papers.  I couldn't help but sneak a picture of this answer to what time does the clock show!  I almost cut the answer off!  2:80 o'clock!  Hilarious!

Whole 30, Honor Roll and Tate is 6 months

Yesterday (Monday) we started the Whole 30!  This is our menu for the week.  Last night the chicken was dry and chewy and the dressing was to vinegary but the pears were awesome!  We're learning!

Jeff made our own mayonnaise!  It's actually good!

 I made a poncho!  It fits Addie!

 On Friday, Addie had her award assembly.  She got Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance!

 Addie, Makayla and Jennifer.  Then Iryland decided to photo bomb.

 I got a ride back home from the assembly with Christy.  She backed into a lifted dodge truck and did more damage to her brand new mini van than the truck!  Chris was not very happy considering she has a back up camera!  Doh!
